Langney Shopping Centre has over 40 retail units, offering a diverse mix of national chains and independent retail, dining and leisure businesses.
Langney Shopping Centre partnered with Lightning Fibre to enhance its digital infrastructure with a high-speed, resilient broadband solution. The goal was to future-proof connectivity for both tenants and centre operations, while also offering free WiFi for the public.
The Challenge
The standard Openreach broadband connection speeds were inconsistent. With CCTV, office systems and tenant cloud-based systems to run, a more robust solution was essential.
The Solution
Lightning Fibre designed and installed a high performance 1Gbps line with full fibre connectivity throughout the entire building, ready for each unit to use, as well as a visitor WiFi solution.
The Result
The centre now benefits from reliable, high-speed connectivity that supports office and security systems, tenants’ digital requirements and public Wi-Fi.
