The process
How we work with developers
Site Planning
We work with developers to identify the simplest deployment methodology and design, reducing build pinch points, ensuring Part R compliance and modelling for costs and revenue.
Connecting the Fibre
Lightning Fibre works closely with new property developers, providing a bespoke design which delivers a connection to our fibre-optic network for each individual home and residential block. Building of the physical network can be undertaken by our partners, as per our retro-fit process, or we can provide free issue of materials to the developer. Our ducts are constructed alongside the other utilities required for each property.
Existing and New Duct and Fibre
As a statutory undertaker, we install our own infrastructure to the premises where required, while also making use of Openreach’s physical network under the PIA framework. Our survey will identify the best way of bringing hyperfast full fibre broadband to your development.
On Site Development
We provide detailed drawings, materials and surveying expertise, and IT/network experience to help you install the ducting infrastructure and full fibre network. As your site grows, so does the network.
Service Fees
Our network is competitively priced for all needs and budgets. Great value for your residents/tenants, and we have a locally-based customer service team to keep them fully supported and happy in the future. We do not build annual inflationary price rises into our contracts. Prices stay the same for the whole term, without exception.
Extenders
Should the homes need a signal boost, we will install extenders. We can also ‘hardwire’ certain rooms, for example an upstairs study if required.
