Project overview

The 4-star Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne is an elegant Victorian hotel with stunning sea views, set in private gardens with a sunbathing terrace and heated outdoor pool. Advised by its managed IT provider, M-Tech Systems, the hotel upgraded to Lightning Fibre to benefit from a fast, reliable full fibre broadband solution.

The Challenge

The existing broadband service could not serve the demand for digital TV entertainment or extend a good WiFi service out to the gardens and pool areas.

In addition, consideration was needed to ensure that all the network technology hardware was hidden to maintain an attractive aesthetic around the property.

The Solution

‍M-Tech Systems collaborated with Lightning Fibre and a 1Gbps high speed, full fibre broadband connection was installed.

The M-Tech team also delivered an extensive and secure WiFi solution – with separate guest, staff and business WiFi networks.
