Celebrating Community Spirit at the 2025 Hailsham Hero Awards
On 14 November 2025, Lightning Fibre had the pleasure of attending the Hailsham Hero Awards, a wonderful celebration of community spirit in Hailsham, East Sussex.
The event, held at The King’s Head in Horsebridge, was organised by Hailsham News and Hailsham FM, with support from the Town Council and other local sponsors.
This annual awards night shines a spotlight on the people, groups, and businesses who quietly make a real difference in our town. From fundraisers and youth champions to charities, community organisations, and businesses supporting local causes - it’s an evening to celebrate the heart and soul of Hailsham.
Our Nomination: Business Contribution to Charity
We were especially honoured to have been nominated for the Business Contribution to Charity Award, alongside two fantastic local businesses: Stephens & Carter Estate Agents and White Hart Public House.
Well done to the White Hart for winning! Lightning Fibre and Stephens & Carter were both highly commended as runners-up.

Supporting Hailsham
Our involvement in the Hailsham community is something we’re very proud of. As an active member of the Hailsham Chamber of Commerce, Lightning Fibre has been proud to support local causes for years – from sponsoring the Hailsham Community Run 2025, to providing essential funding for Pass It On in Your Community, supporting the Hailsham Festival, and helping the local boxing club with much-life saving equipment, we’re proud to champion our community.
