Local Full Fibre Internet Service Provider Lightning Fibre Sponsors Worthing Festival

2025 sees The Worthing Festival get bigger and better than ever! The  revamp of the newly-designed, family-friendly Worthing Festival includes a full Fringe programme, running from 1st - 30th June, and a new two-day festival in Homefield Park on 21st and 22nd June that is free for everyone to attend.

Lightning Fibre is thrilled to be an official Festival Supporter to help towards growing the event this year - particularly the festival experience at Homefield Park.

There will be three stages with live music:

- Main Park Stage - a line up of local and international music, including solo artists, band and choirs

- AudioActive Youth Stage -featuring young musicians such as Maxwell D, Louie Lavack and Lilly Wolfe

- Discovery Stage - showcasing solo artists and emerging talent.

Alongside music, attendees can enjoy local food and drink, skateboarding lessons, circus performers, kids activities, graffiti art and more. Everything runs from 11 am to 9 pm each day.

The theme of the festival is 'Let's grow this town together' - which hints back to the rich horticultural heritage of the town, as well as developing and supporting all the local talent.

This year, the festival will extend into the evening with ‘after dark parties’ in local bars and nightclubs across town - with some great DJs.

Fiona Gallagher, Worthing Festival committee member, commented, “The Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce connected me with their new member, Lightning Fibre, as a potential partner for the Festival. We’re delighted that they agreed to support us straight away, in time to sponsor this year’s event.”

Lightning Fibre launched its full fibre broadband services in Worthing in September 2024, and has taken the town by storm with lightning fast, rock solid full fibre. The community-centric ISP sponsors a range of events across Sussex, including Hailsham Festival, Eastbourne Carnival, Hastings Comedy Festival and, now, Worthing Festival.

Matt Goacher, Head of Sales, added, “This is a fantastic community event, and we’re delighted to financially support the Worthing Festival - hopefully the first of many years of our involvement with an event that brings people together to celebrate the rich history of this great town.”

The Festival Fringe programme runs throughout June at a range of venue and includes music, theatre, circus and dance perfomances, heritage walks and talks and art exhibitions. There really is something for everyone!

We look forward to seeing you there!
