Local Full Fibre Internet Service Provider Lightning Fibre Sponsors Worthing Festival

The Worthing Festival was launched in 2022 by the council and has since been passed to the community. The Community revamp of Worthing Festival includes a full Fringe program, running from 1st - 30th June, and a free two-day festival at Homefield Park on 21st and 22nd June.

There will be three stages - Park, Audio active:Kustom Vibes, and Discovery - showcasing a range of talent. Alongside music, attendees can enjoy local food and drink, skate demos and graffiti art. This year, the festival will extend into the evening with ‘after dark parties’ in local bars and nightclubs across town.

Fiona Gallagher, Worthing Festival committee member, commented, “The Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce connected me with their new member, Lightning Fibre, as a potential partner for the Festival. We’re delighted that they agreed to support us straight away, in time to sponsor this year’s event.”

Lightning Fibre launched its full fibre broadband services in Worthing in September 2024, and has taken the town by storm with lightning fast, rock solid full fibre. The community-centric ISP sponsors a range of events across Sussex, including Hailsham Festival, Eastbourne Carnival, Hastings Comedy Festival and, now, Worthing Festival.

Matt Goacher, Head of Sales, added, “This is a fantastic community event, and we’re delighted to financially support the Worthing Festival - hopefully the first of many years of our involvement with an event that brings people together to celebrate the rich history of this great town.”
