Lightning Fibre Welcomes the Year of the Horse on Kings Road, St Leonards!
Lightning Fibre is pleased to be sponsoring the St Leonards Chinese Lunar Festival, taking place on Sunday 1st March 2026 along Kings Road.
Visitors can look forward to traditional dragon and lion dances, cultural performances and martial arts demonstrations, alongside market stalls and family-friendly activities suitable for all ages.
A community celebration on Kings Road
Taking place from 10.30am to 3.30pm, the celebration will transform Kings Road into a lively hub of colour, performance and community spirit. The event will be completely free for everyone thanks to organisers and sponsors, in collaboration with the Hastings and St Leonards Chinese Association and 1066 Wing Chun Schools.
Lightning Fibre is a main sponsor - and delighted to be back in this well-loved part of St Leonards, that has become a popular setting for lively events. We also supported last year’s St Leonards Frost Fair, as well as December’s community Christmas Tree.
Welcoming the Year of the Horse
The 2026 celebrations mark the Year of the Fire Horse in the Chinese zodiac. The horse is traditionally associated with energy, confidence and forward movement, qualities that reflect the lively spirit of the event and the character of Hastings and St Leonards.
As a free event, it is open to everyone and designed to be enjoyed at your own pace, whether you stay for a short visit or spend the day.
