Lighting Up St Leonards: Lightning Fibre Sponsors Kings Road Christmas Tree
This winter, Kings Road in St Leonards on Sea has has some extra festive decorations with a beautiful community Christmas tree, proudly sponsored by Lightning Fibre. Coordinated by the St Leonards Town Team, the tree adds some extra sparkle for residents, local businesses, and visitors throughout the season.
A Tree Fit for Three Kings
Our Lightning Fibre community team spent a fun few hours decorating the tree with branded baubles. Town Centre Manager, John Bownas, climbed the ladder to hang lights and the high hanging decorations, supported by Anton Windsor-Burton, known for organising the St Leonards Frost Fair and the annual Hastings Pirate Festival.
We were delighted to later welcome several representatives from Hastings & St Leonards to admire the finished tree. Leader of the Council, Glenn Haffenden, Deputy Council Leader, Julia Hilton, and Mayor of Hastings, Becca Horn, joined us on Kings Road, demonstrating the strong community connections that make this area tick.
Glenn added “Now we’re into December, we have several Christmas trees up across the borough – thanks to the different sponsors and organisations that have helped fund these."
The other trees are in Hastings Town Centre and Butlers Gap in the Old Town.

Spreading Some Festive Cheer
“The tree looks fantastic, and it’s lovely to know it will be brightening the high street all season long. We're delighted to be supporting St Leonards” said Emma Pearce, Head of Marketing at Lightning Fibre.
