Hailsham Festival Returns This September with Lightning Fibre as Lead Corporate Sponsor
The Hailsham Festival of Arts and Culture returns this September, bringing two weeks of performances, exhibitions, talks, workshops and family activities to Hailsham, East Sussex.
From Saturday 5 to Sunday 20 September 2026 the festival, organised by the Hailsham Festival Committee, will feature events at venues including Hailsham Pavilion, Hailsham Parish Church and Gallery North.

Celebrating Arts and Culture Across Hailsham
This year's programme includes events such as the interactive murder mystery supper Murder on the Morlington Express, Tony Harris as Henry VIII, and live music from The Music of Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel performed by the Brighton Beach Boys.
Families can also enjoy children's theatre, storytelling sessions and creative workshops throughout the festival.

Supporting Young Artists
As part of the build up to this year's festival, members of the Lightning Fibre team helped judge the Children's Art Competition, which invited young people aged 6 to 16 to create artwork inspired by the theme Prehistoric World.
Lightning Fibre has provided a £75 prize for the winning young artist, along with £75 for their school to spend on art supplies or equipment.
The winners will be announced at the Hailsham Festival Awards Ceremony at Gallery North on Saturday 12 September, from 2pm to 3pm.
Gallery North will also host exhibitions, workshops and creative activities during the festival.
Since last year's event, Lightning Fibre has connected the gallery to our local full fibre network, providing reliable broadband where there was previously no fixed internet connection.
