Build teams. Build campaigns. Build communities.

Lightning Fibre is one of the South East's fastest-growing independent Full Fibre broadband providers, delivering ultrafast connectivity across East Sussex whilst remaining proudly local.

We're transforming the way we engage with communities.

Rather than simply knocking on doors, we've developed LF Engage – a structured, data-led community engagement model that combines local marketing, direct sales, customer referrals, community events and targeted campaigns to maximise broadband adoption across every territory.

We're now looking for an ambitious Community Engagement Manager to lead this exciting next phase.

If you're an inspirational field leader who enjoys coaching people, planning campaigns and delivering measurable commercial results, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

This isn't a traditional field sales management role.

You'll lead a team of Community Engagement Ambassadors, planning and coordinating territory-based campaigns that combine multiple customer engagement channels to drive broadband adoption and customer acquisition.

You'll spend time coaching your team in the field, analysing campaign performance, developing people and working closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure every campaign delivers measurable commercial outcomes.

Success isn't measured simply by activity.

It's measured by territory growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Community Engagement Executives
  • Planning and coordinating territory engagement campaigns using LF Engage
  • Managing a blend of community engagement activities including:
  • Door-to-door engagement
  • Direct doorstep sales
  • Community events
  • Retail promotions
  • Customer referral campaigns
  • Local awareness campaigns
  • Targeted follow-up activity
  • Delivering regular field coaching and one-to-one development
  • Monitoring campaign performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Allocating territories and campaign resources to maximise commercial performance
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver integrated customer acquisition campaigns
  • Using CRM and campaign data to optimise activity and improve results
  • Building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, coaching and continuous improvement

About You

You'll have experience leading field-based sales or engagement teams and genuinely enjoy developing people.

You'll be commercially minded, organised and comfortable balancing operational planning with hands-on coaching in the field.

We're looking for someone who can inspire people, solve problems and continuously improve performance.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience managing field sales, community engagement or promotional teams
  • Strong coaching and people development skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
  • Confidence managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A full UK Driving Licence

Experience within telecoms is advantageous but not essential.

What You'll Get

  • £35,000 basic salary
  • Realistic OTE of £45,000+
  • Company vehicle
  • Company bonus scheme
  • Ongoing coaching and leadership development
  • Genuine opportunity to shape and grow a brand-new community engagement model
