Polegate Grasshoppers Leap into Action with New Kits from Lightning Fibre
Lightning Fibre is delighted to have sponsored brand-new kits for the under-11 team at Polegate Grasshoppers. The all-girls team had been in need of a new kit since the start of the season, for training evenings and match days, and now they’re looking like the most competitive team in town!
A Welcome Upgrade for the Team
Team Manager James, explained that "The team has needed new kits for some time but we didn't have the full funds required. The team has been managing with old spare items that were not the right size. Some of the tops came over the knees of our youngest players! We are so grateful that Lightning FIbre could provide the extra support we needed to get new kit."
Lightning Fibre's Marketing Manager, Emma Pearce, added "During training we could see what a great spirit the girls team has. We wish them every success for the rest of the season - they really do look the part now."
A Club for Everyone
The Polegate Grasshoppers club welcomes young people of all abilities to get involved in football.
From under-6s through to under-16s, the club provides a friendly environment where every player can enjoy the game, make friends and develop their skills.
For those interested in joining, the club trains on Monday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm, with winter sessions taking place at Beresford Astro in Eastbourne.
Matches and brighter evening training sessions are held at Westlords, Queen Elizabeth Field in Willingdon, with away days often taking the teams to Stone Cross, Pevensey and further afield.
