Lightning Fibre helps local charity Children With Cancer Fund improve their office facilities

Children with Cancer Fund, our neighbours in Polegate, needed more storage space - so we donated £850 to cover the cost of all the materials needed for <name> to build a really useful new outbuilding for them.

Children with Cancer Fund is a small charity that grants wishes to children who have/had cancer and their families across East Sussex. CWCF also runs exciting events for families, giving them the chance to meet others in similar situations, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Rob Reaks, Marketing Manager, explained, “Chris Downton, CWCF Founder, raised this funding need during an Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce meeting, telling members that they had run out of storage space and desperately needed a solution. We were happy to jump in and support this great local charity - especially as we’re neighbours here in Polegate”.

Lightning Fibre is a community-centric local business, building a new full fibre network for Eastbourne and East Sussex. We support local grassroots football, we 'sponsor a beach' in Eastbourne and support local good causes.
