Lightning Fibre Supports Little Gate College at The BIG Futures Show
On Tuesday 28 April 2026, Lightning Fibre supported Little Gate College’s involvement in The BIG Futures Show at Eastbourne Sports Park. The support included helping 11 students alongside staff attend the annual event and sponsoring the charity’s exhibition stand.
A Valuable Day Out for Little Gate Students
Organised by Eastbourne Education Business Partnership, The BIG Futures Show is the largest employability, skills and jobs event in East Sussex, bringing together students, employers, training providers and job seekers from across the region.
Little Gate College attended with a stand, where staff and students spoke to visitors about the charity’s work supporting young people with learning disabilities and autism into employment, training and further opportunities.
Students from the Future Ready programme spent the day meeting exhibitors and learning more about different industries and opportunities across Sussex. Attending the event gave students the chance to meet employers, explore career pathways and experience a busy professional environment.
Supporting Students and Local Charities
The BIG Futures Show featured more than 75 exhibitors, alongside careers advice, training opportunities and live vacancies.
Staff at Little Gate College said the students really valued the opportunity to attend the event and explore future opportunities:
“We were really proud to have our own stand at the event, where we had the opportunity to talk to attendees about the work we do at Little Gate and the support we provide to young people and adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism or both.
