Be sure to save the date for the first Polegate Summer Fun Day on Saturday 26th July 2025 – taking place right by the train station!
Following the success of recent Christmas and Eastercelebrations, this summer version promises to be a fantastic afternoon for families from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.
There’ll be loads of free activities for kids, tasty food and craft stalls, a DJ, and other stalls managed by local traders and community groups, including Guides, Cubs and the WI.
Don’t miss free candyfloss and a visit from Stitch (from Lilo & Stitch) at 3pm too!
Free activities include a bouncy castle and slide, sponsored by Lightning Fibre, and a “Beat the Keeper” challenge managed by the Polegate Grasshoppers.
Recently, Emma Pearce, Head of Marketing at Lightning Fibre, met with experienced event organiser Annabelle Cottingham from Ace Events. Emma said, “It’s wonderful to support such a well organised event that will offer such a fun afternoon out for local families. As well as the bouncy castle, we’ll also be running a game on our stand to win a month’s free wifi -and we’ll have some goodies for the children too.”
