The Hastings Comedy Festival is back this June, celebrating its 10th anniversary from June 9th to 15th, sponsored by Lightning Fibre
To celebrate 10 years of the Hastings Comedy Festival, this year’s festival promises to be one of the most vibrant mixes of laughter and creativity ever! There are 93 shows across 14 local venues.
Co-founders, Chris and Jake, have done the most incredible job building a very successful independent comedy festival. The Hastings event achieves higher attendances and sell out shows than other big events across the world! Last year it had a 72% festival sell out - with global averages across the World Fringe network at 45%.
Their target this year is 80% sell out - so grab your tickets now!
The 2025 festival runs from 9th to 15th June and offers stand-up comedy from high profile comedians and newcomers, comedy theatre, clowning, puppetry, and much more. There's something for everyone, including families and children. With a range of shows including tour performances, fringe previews, and exclusive work-in-progress shows, festival goers will experience the best of the comedy scene.
See the full line up on the Festival website.

Saturday, June 14th will be a highlight, with the return of Comedy for Kids at The Observer Building and the prestigious ‘’Norman Award’’ newcomer competition at The Piper.
Last year’s winner, Lucas Jefcoate, will also perform his show at Jenny Lind. Lucas began performing stand up at 17. He took a course at the Comedy School led by Keith Palmer and performed his first 5 minute set at the Backyard Comedy Club. Since then Lucas has gigged in London, Edinburgh and New York.
This year, a special Launch Event took place on Friday 2nd May, sponsored by Lightning Fibre, at The Observer Building.
The evening included a great story of the history of the festival from founders and organisers, Chris and Jake, plus hilarious live stand up from Lucas Jefcoate, Sam Willett and President Obonjo. The evening finished with live music from NOMAS SHAKES, a Pop-Rock / Garage Rock Revival quartet from South East UK.

Rob Reaks, Lightning Fibre's chief commercial officer, commented, "We are delighted to be headline sponsor for the Festival for the fourth consecutive year, and we wish them a very happy 10th Birthday. The line up this year looks fantastic and there’s no better time to support this independent, local festival that has made a mark both nationally and internationally."
