Lightning Fibre Named Broadband Provider of the Year 2025 at Connected Britain Awards
We’ve got some exciting news - Lightning Fibre has been named Broadband Provider of the Year 2025 at the Connected Britain Awards at London’s ExCeL!
Gita Sorensen, INCA board advisor and MD of GOS Consulting, presented the award to our CTO, Paul Thornton, and COO, Ammar Jawaid.
Connected Britain is the UK's biggest digital economy event focused on the future of UK connectivity. There are 8000 visitors over 2 days, 300 exhibitors and 400 speakers - including CXO panel discussions from leading network operators and ISPs.
The Connected Britain Awards from Total Telecom highlight the people and projects pushing the boundaries within the connectivity sector.
We feel truly honoured that the judges recognised us for doing what we care about most: providing excellent connectivity, putting customers first and supporting local communities.
There were a huge number of entries and a large panel of judges, which included key figures from various analyst firms, consultants, network operators, universities and other industry organisations.

Celebrating Our People and Our Dedication
Rob Reaks, our CCO, said:"Well done everyone at Lightning Fibre for helping us win this coveted award; it’s great to be recognised again by our industry peers. Such awards are not easy to win. This award reflects consistent hard work across the whole company and an authentic commitment to putting the customer first."
