Our Community Engagement Team regularly partake in litter picks at our adopted beach, and also takes part in community clean-ups organised by others — most recently joining a litter pick at the Polegate Recreation Ground led by Polegate Town Council. We believe that lightning-fast, reliable broadband should be part of a cleaner, more digitally connected community. Looking ahead to 2025, Lightning Fibre is taking further steps to reduce our environmental footprint by lowering our fuel usage, energy and water consumption, and the amount of waste sent to landfill.
We’re also investing in sustainability education, providing our staff with dedicated training courses focused on environmental protection. This empowers our team to implement sustainable practices both within the company and throughout the wider community—promoting a greater awareness of the importance of sustainability and a greener future for Eastbourne.
