Born and bred in Eastbourne, Josh Babarinde, Parliamentary Spokesman of the Eastbourne and Willingdon Liberal Democrats, recently unveiled the latest Primary Node Cabinet for Full Fibre operator, Lightning Fibre.

Lightning Fibre, also ‘born and bred’ - and headquartered - in Eastbourne, has built a brand new Full Fibre network for Hampden Park.  Lightning Fibre secured a multi-million pound investment in 2020 to deliver Full Fibre broadband to Eastbourne and beyond, creating almost 200 local jobs in the process, and improving the connectivity of thousands of homes and businesses across the South East.

‘Unveiling’ the latest Primary Node Cabinet, Josh commented, “I'm committed to being the vocal and visible champion our town needs and deserves. Decent broadband is essential for our modern demands; at work, school and at home. I am particularly impressed by Lightning Fibre’s early adoption of a ‘social tariff’, helping people on means-tested benefits access this brand new technology. It’s commendable that Lightning Fibre is leading the way locally for affordable Full Fibre access. The company has already achieved huge respect for the amount of community support it gives, and I am delighted to support them in marking another local milestone with the launch of Full Fibre for Hampden Park.”

With households under financial pressure from the rising cost of living, the company offers a £15 per month 'Social Tariff' for households eligible for means-tested benefits, and competitive standard prices from just £24 per month with no in-contract, inflationary annual price rises.  Guaranteed upload and download speeds go as fast as 900Mbps, which proves popular with busy households, gamers and home workers who need hyper fast speeds.

Rob Reaks, Lightning Fibre’s Sales and Marketing Director, commented, “We’re reaching the completion of our Eastbourne network roll out, and we already have thousands of very happy customers locally. The support of local stakeholders like Josh helps us raise awareness of the ‘local network’ we’ve created using local employees and, where possible, local suppliers. We’re proud to invest back into the communities we serve, including sponsoring the Lightning Fibre Ice Rink and Wyntercon again this year.”

Lightning Fibre is now connecting customers in Hampden Park and Willingdon, to find out more go to www.LightningFibre.co.uk, or call 01323 380260.
