Hastings Beatles Day returns to The White Rock Theatre in 2023, sponsored by Lightning Fibre.

Last year, Beatles Day featured 300 musicians, singers and dancers who all gave up their time for free to perform at Beatles Day and raised over £13,000 for The Sara Lee Trust. 

The Sara Lee Trust supports people in Hastings and Rother who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life threatening illness by providing free counselling, complementary therapies and group activities specifically designed to work alongside medical treatment.

Lightning Fibre, the local AltNet Full Fibre broadband provider for Hastings and Rother, are proud to sponsor the event, including Headline Sponsor of the Acoustic Stage. 

This wonderful annual celebration of the Fab Four brings together professional and amateur musicians, dancers and choreographers to raise funds for local charity The Sara Lee Trust.

Event Performance Manager, Gillian Payne, said: “We've got live music from local and national acts interpreting songs from across the entire Beatles collection with many iconic classics on offer for new generations.”

Since the inaugural performance in 2000, the show has gone from strength to strength – since the 2019 event founder Pete Prescott passed on the organiser’s baton. The show is a veritable magnet for performers,with musicians and dancers coming from near and far, professional and amateur,to make this a hot spot of enjoyment in the Hastings cultural calendar.
