Lightning Fibre sponsors Hailsham Bonfire Night, 2022

Hailsham Bonfire Night went off with a bang on Saturday 15th October, with a procession through town prior to the lighting of the Bonfire (with an effigy of Guy Fawkes at the top) and an amazing 10 minute firework display at the Recreation Ground.

Bonfire Societies including Heathfield Bonfire Society, Hailsham Bonfire Society and Eastbourne Bonfire Society joined the procession which included a tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II and our new King, King Charles III.

Lightning Fibre sponsored the event and provided safety barriers used around town to keep crowds safe, removing a cost from the event budget.

Bonfire Night is associated with the tradition of celebrating the failure of Guy Fawkes' actions on 5 November 1605. Fawkes was hung on 31 January 1606.
