Supporting Grassroots Boxing in Eastbourne
Founded in 2014, Eastbourne Boxing Club is a not-for-profit organisation and run by a team of unpaid volunteer coaches, led by chairman and head coach Adam Haniver. It is affiliated with the National Governing Body, England Boxing.
Adam said "Our club is built on a culture of Adapt, Respect and Commit and we run sessions every week for for juniors, teenagers, seniors, girls and women. We aim to give people the chance to train regularly, improve fitness and learn new skills."
If you or someone you know has ever been interested in taking up boxing, you can find details of sessions on the Eastbourne Boxing Club website. The club is based at Unit 10, 45a Commercial Mews North. Eastbourne, BN21 3XF - just a few minutes walk from the town centre and train station.
Emma Pearce, Head of Marketing at Lightning Fibre, added:
“Eastbourne Boxing Club is doing great work locally. We are impressed by the club's ethos of encouraging a healthy lifestyle, providing education and friendship, and being inclusive to all.”
