Chamber Airbourne Lunch Sponsored by Lightning Fibre Raises over £2,300 for charity

Over 200 Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce members and guests attended the Airbourne lunch, including newly elected MP Josh Babarinde. Over £2,300 was raised and will be donated to UCEP, an amazing charity that provide scholarships to children in West Africa. UCEP is a not-for-profit charitable organisation, set up to pay school fees and provide associated support for children from disadvantaged families in disadvantaged communities in West Africa.

2024 marked the 30th anniversary of the Eastbourne International Airshow. Attracting huge crowds, Eastbourne's International Airshow boasts a 2 mile flying display line along Eastbourne seafront.

The annual Chamber lunch event brings together local businesses for networking, fundraising and plane-spotting at the View Hotel Eastbourne, which provides (arguably) the best vantage point for the airshow from the roof terraces.

Lightning Fibre has sponsored the lunch for the past three years.
