Lightning Fibre celebrates “10,000 homes passed” as the network expansion continues.

Local Network Builder and Operator Lighting Fibre, based in Polegate, recently hit another milestone, 10,000 premises passed. To celebrate, homeowner Cammas Maccormick of Motcombe Road has been installed with Hyper Fast full fibre broadband FOR FREE!

The company has gifted Cammas with a 1Gb full fibre service for a year. “We’re delighted to achieve this milestone, slightly ahead of schedule, and look forward to reaching every home and business in Eastbourne in the year ahead” said Community Engagement Manager Rob De Gouveia. 

This new network does not use the BT Openreach copper wire network, which means faster speeds and more reliable connectivity. The company is also rolling out to Hastings, St.Leonards, Hailsham and Heathfield with further expansion in East Sussex under consideration.
