Lightning Fibre CEO presents cheque for £2,300 to St Michael's Hospice

Concluding the successful Follow that Duck Outdoor Art Trail, Lightning Fibre successfully bid for 'Spots and Bolts' at Hook a Duck Auction and Lightning Fibre's CEO presented a cheque for £2,300 to St Michael's Hospice Income Generation Director Perdita Chamberlain and Duck Artist DLR-Art (David Smith).

Follow that Duck, with Wild In Art, saw 30 large duck sculptures placed across Hastings and Rother during summer 2022, creating a Live Art Trail from Hastings Old Town to Bexhill on Sea.  The trail, lasting ten weeks, was visited by thousands of eager Duck hunters, bringing colour and excitement to the streets of Hastings and Rother.

Each of the giant Rubber Duck sculptures was hand decorated with individually created designs, many of which showcased the wealth of artistic talent within East Sussex.

Spots and Bolts now nests in the Lightning Fibre Eastbourne HQ, as a vibrant reminder of our community engagement project with St Michael's Hospice.
