Is your broadband letting you down? You're not alone. Our Eastbourne-based CEO and Founder Ben Ferriman was so frustrated with the dreadful connection at his home he set up Lightning Fibre to upgrade the town. We have a fully-funded programme under way that will eventually reach every home and business in Eastbourne. We're making great progress already, with thousands of properties already connected or ready to connect to the new network.
This is a brand new network - you'll see our installation teams out and about across Eastbourne laying the new full fibre broadband network. We do not use the old BT copper wiring, which is slow and unreliable. Even a 'fibre' network, which you may be using currently, will include some old wiring. Our 'Full Fibre' network does not - our network connects your home or business directly to the exchange using fibre optics all the way.
If our work is completed in your street and fully tested, you will be able to either BUY online or register your interest. If we're still building the network in your area, you'll be prompted to register your interest; this allows our Community Engagement Team to reach out to you by phone and email with updates about your specific address as we progress towards your home or business. So, please do register so we know you're waiting for us!
We're an active member of the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce and chamber members get 10% off their Lightning Fibre business broadband package.
We are a local network operator and ISP based in Eastbourne, building a future proofed cutting-edge full fibre broadband network, providing a quality service with the added bonus of doing so with a community-centric approach.
When you 'buy local' you're part of the circular economy; creating more local jobs, local investment and local growth. Lightning Fibre is committed to making a real and lasting difference here in Eastbourne and the surrounding area.
We get involved in the local community - whether it's sponsoring local grassroots football teams, cleaning the beach or removing graffiti. We also support local good causes and try to attend / sponsor as many local events as possible, including The Eastbourne Lighting Fibre Ice Rink and Wyntercon.
