About this role:

Senior Account Manager

We’re looking for an experienced account manager to support the CEO and Head of Sales to help grow our full fibre network. You’ll be organised and great at building relationships.

We’re the new kids on the block and we’re extremely ambitious. We’re building a high-quality, future-proofed full fibre network across East Sussex.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct selling to businesses, big and small.
  • Developing Managed IT Solution Partner relationships, working closely with our trusted partners to help them secure more local business (as well as finding new partners to join us).
  • Major projects and large sites, including schools, colleges etc.
  • New Property Developments, identifying opportunities and working closely with developers (residential and commercial) to ensure that the Lightning Fibre network is included in new builds across the county.

You’ll be an awesome project manager, great at developing, nurturing, and growing strong business relationships.

You’ll probably already have a personal, local business network; you’re great at real life and virtual networking, confident using LinkedIn (you’ll have lots of great connections already, and you’ll be effective at growing this in your new sector) and brimming with ideas for Sales and Marketing campaigns that will help you achieve your goals.

Experience of telecoms, utilities or broadband specifically would be preferred but not essential.

You’ll be well organised, comfortable using CRMs, proactive and super confident (but not pushy).

Great presentation skills are a must. You’ll thrive on your own, meeting and beating targets, as well as being a positive team player who can motivate and inspire those around them.

From year 2, we’ll introduce a commission-scheme so that you can benefit from the great relationships you’ll develop during your first year.
