Lightning Fibre and the Heathfield Show have confirmed the showground will benefit from a dedicated, multi-gigabit WiFi service this year. Lightning Fibre will also sponsor the event financially and contribute the Event Signage that is erected throughout Heathfield in the lead up to the show, helping to publicise the event which is attended by 17000+ people each year.
Traders, staff and guests will be able to enjoy a hyper fast and hyper reliable broadband connection throughout the showground, for free.
The Show has also been chosen to launch the East Sussex initiative for the Queen's 75th Jubilee, the Queen's Jubilee Green Canopy.
Saturday, 28th May will be a true jamboree of all that’s good and great about the High Weald area in which we live by creating a shop window for local farmers, producers and businesses and a meeting point for visitors on this special day of the year.
The Show has been chosen to launch the Queen's Jubilee Green Canopy initiative in East Sussex to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee - 70 years on the throne. Plant a Tree for the Jubilee is a national event and we will be celebrating by planting a tree on the Showground on Show day. With a focus on planting sustainably, the Queen's Jubilee Green Canopy will encourage planting of trees to create a legacy in honour of The Queen’s leadership of the Nation, which will benefit future generations.
